Kansas High School Basketball - Ottawa edges Burlington
January 22, 2022: Ottawa, KS 66067 The Ottawa Cyclones (Ottawa, KS) basketball nipped the visiting Burlington Wildcats (Burlington, KS), 50-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cyclones (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Osage City (Osage City, KS). The Indians go into the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Osage City was tipped by Mission Valley (Eskridge, KS), 24-23, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie View for a Pioneer contest on Tuesday, January 25. Burlington will battle a Buffalos team coming off a 51-29 non-league win over Altoona-Midway (Buffalo, KS). The Buffalos record now stands at 6-4.
