September 23, 2016: Bennington, VT 05201 The Mount Anthony Patriots football team (Bennington, VT), was beaten 12-0 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT)
The Green Knights (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hartford (White River Junction, VT). The Hurricanes come into the Division I challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Hartford achieved victory over Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT), 47-0, in a league challenge.
The Patriots now sport a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rutland for a Division I challenge on Friday, September 30. Mount Anthony will meet a Raiders team coming off a 46-21 league loss to St. Johnsbury Academy (St. Johnsbury, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 1-3.
