In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS) basketball squad edged the host Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS), by a margin of 57-55.

The Lions (10-4) will now prepare for their outing against Thrasher (Booneville, MS). The Rebels go into the 1A Region 1 outing with a 6-8 record.

The Tigers now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Oxford for a non-league outing on Thursday, December 28. Ripley will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 59-12 non-league loss to Belmont (Belmont, MS). The Chargers record now stands at 5-12.
