Louisiana High School Baseball - Benton holds off Ashdown
March 25, 2022: Benton, LA 71006 Benton Tigers (Benton, LA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Ashdown Panthers (Ashdown, AR), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Benton upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Southwood (Shreveport, LA) to battle the Cowboys in a 5A District 1 test on Saturday, March 26. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 0-6. Southwood lost 12-2 in their recent league test against Airline (Bossier City, LA)
With the defeat, Ashdown falls to 2-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hooks (Hooks, TX) to battle the Hornets in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 29. The Hornets come into the test with a record of 12-5. Hooks lost 5-4 in their recent league test against Pewitt (Omaha, TX)
