Bedford Bisons (Bedford, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Westmont Hilltop Hilltoppers (Johnstown, PA), 54-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Bedford upgrades its record to 11-9 on the season. The Bisons host Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA) to play the Crushers in a Laurel Highlands bout on Tuesday, February 15. The Crushers go into the bout with a record of 13-8. Bishop McCort lost 67-39 in their recent league bout against Richland (Johnstown, PA)

Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) in a Laurel Highlands bout, on Monday, February 14. Westmont Hilltop will attempt to upgrade on its 5-14 season record. The Marauders go into the bout with a 17-4 record after their 56-52 league win over Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).
