Illinois High School Basketball - Highland Park edges Lake Forest Academy
February 8, 2022: Highland Park, IL 60035 The Highland Park Giants (Highland Park, IL) basketball nipped the visiting Lake Forest Academy Caxys (Lake Forest, IL), 42-41 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Giants (10-17) will now prepare for their test against Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Vikings go into the Central Suburban - North test with a 15-7 record. In their last test, Niles North got by Schurz (Chicago, IL), 54-38, in a non-league test.
The Caxys now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Saint Viator for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 9. Lake Forest Academy will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 64-40 league loss to Benet Academy (Lisle, IL). The Lions record now stands at 9-15.
