The Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY) basketball felled the visiting Clay Blue Devils (Lexington, KY), 64-55 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Warriors (10-4) will now prepare for their test against Wayne County (Monticello, KY). The Cardinals go into the District 48 test with a 8-7 record. In their last test, Wayne County defeated Monticello (Monticello, KY), 47-46, in a league test.

The Blue Devils now own a 2-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Jessamine for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. Clay will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 49-47 league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-8.
