The Cypress Creek Cougars (Houston, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Cypress Ridge Rams (Houston, TX), 63-47 in Saturday's league test.

The Cougars (17-13) will now prepare for their test against Spring Woods (Houston, TX). The Tigers go into the 6A Region III District 17 test with a 13-11 record. In their last test, Spring Woods went down by Stratford (Houston, TX), 56-33, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 19-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jersey Village for a 6A Region III District 17 test on Wednesday, February 2. Cypress Ridge will encounter a Falcons squad coming off a 73-44 league loss to Cy-Fair (Cypress, TX). The Falcons record now stands at 13-15.
