California High School Volleyball - Downey overwhelmed by Gahr

The Downey Vikings volleyball team (Downey, CA), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting Gahr Gladiators (Cerritos, CA)

The Gladiators (10-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA). The Wolfpack come into the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Maywood CES went down by Elizabeth (Cudahy, CA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the La Mirada Matadores (La Mirada, CA) in a Gateway challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Downey will attempt to move on its 11-8 season record. The Matadores come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 3-2 league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA).
