The Desert Christian Knights football team (Lancaster, CA), was ripped 46-12 in Friday's non-league challenge with the visiting St. Anthony Saints (Long Beach, CA)

The Saints (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Mary Star of the Sea (San Pedro, CA). The Stars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Mary Star of the Sea trounced St. Monica (Santa Monica, CA), 24-21, in a non-league challenge.

The Knights now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 21. Desert Christian will encounter a Broncos team coming off a 35-19 non-league win over Mammoth (Mammoth Lakes, CA). The Broncos record now stands at 1-1.
