The Independence basketball team (Ashburn, VA), was nudged 60-59 in Friday's league battle with the host Potomac Falls Panthers (Sterling, VA)

The Panthers now possess a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stone Bridge for a Potomac battle on Tuesday, January 25. Potomac Falls will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 67-61 league win over Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-2.

The (10-3) will now prepare for their battle against National Christian Academy White (Fort Washington, MD). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 2-16 record.
