The Groves Rebels topped the visiting Islands Sharks basketball team by a final score of 65-47 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Rebels face the Beach Bulldogs (Savannah, GA) in a AAA Region 3 game, on Saturday, January 12. Groves will attempt to move on its 6-9 season record.

With the defeat, Islands moves to 5-12 on the year. The Sharks travel to Windsor Forest (Savannah, GA) to face the Knights in a AAA Region 3 game on Friday, January 11.
