November 20, 2023: Buda, TX 78610 The Johnson Jaguars (Buda, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX), 44-41 in Monday's non-league test.
The Jaguars (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Midland Legacy (Midland, TX). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 1-4 record. In their last test, Midland Legacy was tipped by Americas (El Paso, TX), 49-43, in a non-league test.
The Bulldawgs now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Lampasas for a non-league test on Tuesday, November 28. Copperas Cove will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 65-41 non-league loss to Hutto (Hutto, TX). The Badgers record now stands at 2-9.
