January 7, 2022: Baton Rouge, LA 70879 The Walker Wildcats (Walker, LA) basketball knocked off the host St. Michael Warriors (Baton Rouge, LA), 53-41 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (8-3) will now prepare for their test against East St. John (Reserve, LA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 16-3 record. In their last test, East St. John notched a victory over Hahnville (Boutte, LA), 50-46, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to University Lab for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 11. St. Michael will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 65-55 non-league loss to Zachary (Zachary, LA). The Cubs record now stands at 8-4.
