The Wilcox RVT Indians basketball team (Meriden, CT), was overwhelmed 94-49 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT)

The Beavers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvard Ellis Tech for a non-league battle on Monday, December 20. Cheney RVT will battle a Eagles team coming off a 60-33 non-league loss to Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.
