The Bearcats now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melissa for a 5A Region II District 13 battle on Tuesday, January 3. Sherman will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 37-30 non-league loss to Keller Central (Keller, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-15.
The Mavericks (7-17) will now prepare for their battle against Heritage (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes come into the 5A Region II District 10 battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Heritage was routed by Crowley (Crowley, TX), 65-48, in a non-league battle.
