In Monday's non-league game, the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals baseball team scored a tight 16-10 victory over the North Mecklenburg Vikings.

The Cardinals (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Charlotte Stampede (Charlotte, NC). The Stampede go into the non-league game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Charlotte Stampede was overwhelmed by Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 5-1, in a non-league game.
