New Jersey High School Basketball - Kent Place topped by Governor Livingston
January 17, 2023: Summit, NJ 07901 The Governor Livingston Highlanders basketball team scored 29 points and restricted the host Kent Place Dragons to 18 in the Highlanders league victory on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Knoll for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 19. Governor Livingston will battle a Royals team coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Royals record now stands at 3-7.
The Dragons (0-8) will now prepare for their contest against Dayton (Springfield, NJ). The Bulldogs come into the Union County - Valley contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Dayton was defeated by Plainfield (Plainfield, NJ), 49-40, in a league contest.
