Maryland High School Basketball - Our Lady of Mount Carmel trounces Archbishop Spalding
January 16, 2023: Severn, MD 21144 The Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars (Baltimore, MD) basketball crushed the host Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD), 70-49 in Monday's league test.
The Cougars (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Poly (Baltimore, MD). The Engineers go into the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last match, Poly crushed Pallotti (Laurel, MD), 54-50, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Archbishop Spalding moves to 5-9 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD) to meet the Panthers in a IAAM A match on Friday, January 20. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 14-2. St. Frances Academy won 60-47 in their recent league match against Pallotti (Laurel, MD)
