The Van Buren Pointers softball team (Van Buren, AR), was routed 8-1 in Thursday's non-league test with the host Gentry Pioneers (Gentry, AR)

Coming up next, the Pioneers clash with the Huntsville Eagles (Huntsville, AR) in a 4A Region 1 test, on Friday, April 5. Gentry will attempt to improve on its 11-2 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 4-15 record after their 10-0 league loss to Pea Ridge (Pea Ridge, AR).
