The Ponca Indians football team (Ponca, NE), was beaten 35-14 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Battle Creek Braves (Battle Creek, NE)

The Braves (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Lutheran-Northeast (Norfolk, NE). The Eagles come into the C2 District 4 challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Lutheran-Northeast was beaten by Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE), 13-10, in a league challenge.
