The Rider Raiders basketball team scored 63 points and held the visiting Granbury Pirates to 37 in the Raiders league triumph on Tuesday.

The Raiders now sport a 15-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Azle for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Friday, January 28. Rider will battle a Hornets team coming off a 51-14 league win over Wichita Falls (Wichita Falls, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 21-8.

The Pirates (18-12) will now prepare for their contest against Aledo (Aledo, TX). The Bearcats enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 8-13 record. In their last contest, Aledo was routed by Brewer (Fort Worth, TX), 48-43, in a league contest.
