The Strongsville Mustangs (Strongsville, OH) football defeated the visiting Euclid Panthers (Euclid, OH), 23-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Mustangs face the Cleveland Heights Tigers (Cleveland Heights, OH) in a Greater Cleveland bout, on Friday, September 22. Strongsville will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record. The Tigers enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 14-13 league win over Mentor (Mentor, OH).

The Panthers (1-3) will now prepare for their bout against Medina (Medina, OH). The Battling Bees enter the Greater Cleveland bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Medina defeated Brunswick (Brunswick, OH), 56-14, in a league bout.
