The Mid Valley Spartans baseball team (Throop, PA), 5-2 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Riverside Vikings (Taylor, PA)

The Vikings now hold a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Old Forge for a Lackawanna 2 outing on Saturday, April 20. Riverside will confront a Blue Devils team coming off a 9-4 league win over Lakeland (Jermyn, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-4.

Next, the Spartans confront the Honesdale Hornets (Honesdale, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 outing, on Saturday, April 20. Mid Valley will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Hornets go into the outing with a 6-2 record after their 6-2 league win over Holy Cross (Dunmore, PA).
