The Coronado Mustangs basketball team (Lubbock, TX), was overwhelmed 56-28 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX)

The Cowboys now possess a 16-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to College Station for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 3. Coppell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 53-45 non-league loss to Hays (Buda, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 2-8.

The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Mansfield Summit (Arlington, TX). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 4-8 record. In their last battle, Mansfield Summit trounced Highlands (San Antonio, TX), 60-23, in a non-league battle.
