Colorado High School Basketball - Resurrection Christian overwhelms Valley
February 13, 2024: Gilcrest, CO 80623 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Resurrection Christian Cougars (Loveland, CO) and the host Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), saw Resurrection Christian's basketball squad wallop Valley by a tally of 59-19.
With the victory, Resurrection Christian improves its record to 19-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Eaton (Eaton, CO) to confront the Reds in a 4A Patriot challenge on Friday, February 16. The Reds come into the challenge with a record of 15-7. Eaton won 68-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Bennett (Bennett, CO)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Berthoud Spartans (Berthoud, CO) in a 4A Patriot challenge, on Friday, February 16. Valley will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 7-15 record after their 54-42 league win over Sterling (Sterling, CO).
