Virginia High School Basketball - Catholic overwhelms Salem
December 10, 2022: Virginia Beach, VA 23464 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) and the host Salem Sundevils (Virginia Beach, VA), saw Catholic's basketball squad wallop Salem by a count of 61-28.
With the victory, Catholic upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Crusaders host Norview (Norfolk, VA) to play the Pilots in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Pilots come into the challenge with a record of 7-0.
Next up, the Sundevils play the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Salem will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 2-2 record after their 60-52 non-league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA).
