Georgia High School Football - River Ridge smashes Towns County
October 14, 2011: Woodstock, GA 30188 The River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) football routed the visiting Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA), 42-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Knights face the Lanier Poets (Montgomery, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 21. River Ridge will attempt to move on its 6-1 season record. The Poets enter the bout with a 2-6 record after their 40-34 league loss to Carver (Montgomery, AL).
The Indians (1-6) will now prepare for their bout against Glascock County (Gibson, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league bout with a 2-5 record. In their last bout, Glascock County was crushed by Georgia Military College (Milledgeville, GA), 28-13, in a league bout.
