South Carolina High School Softball - Union County bounces Mid-Carolina
March 22, 2018: Prosperity, SC 29127 The Union County Yellowjackets (Union, SC) softball routed the host Mid-Carolina Rebels (Prosperity, SC), 11-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Yellowjackets (2-2) will now prepare for their bout against Blue Ridge (Greer, SC). The Fighting Tigers go into the AAAA Region II bout with a 6-5 record. In their last bout, Blue Ridge notched a victory over Travelers Rest (Travelers Rest, SC), 3-2, in a league bout.
The Rebels now possess a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Woodruff for a AAA Region III bout on Friday, March 23. Mid-Carolina will confront a Wolverines squad coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Greer (Greer, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-0.
