The Avella Eagles (Avella, PA) softball routed the visiting Cornell Raiders (Coraopolis, PA), 11-2 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Eagles (3-1) will now prepare for their bout against Mapletown (Greensboro, PA). The Maples go into the WPIAL 1A 2 bout with a 2-3 record.
