Ohio High School Basketball - Euclid can't hold off Orange
January 14, 2024: Pepper Pike, OH 44124 The Orange Lions basketball team scored 40 points and held the visiting Euclid Panthers to 36 in the Lions non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Lions now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chagrin Falls for a Chagrin Valley - Chagrin contest on Wednesday, January 17. Orange will battle a Tigers team coming off a 52-43 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 9-5.
The Panthers (4-10) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH). The Dragons enter the non-league contest with a 1-11 record. In their last contest, Lakeside was nudged by Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH), 51-9, in a league contest.
