The Wheeler Eagles basketball team (Wheeler, MS), dropped 56-39 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Blue Mountain Cougars (Blue Mountain, MS)

The Cougars now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Thrasher for a 1A Region 1 battle on Friday, December 15. Blue Mountain will battle a Rebels team coming off a 44-24 league loss to Wheeler (Wheeler, MS). The Rebels record now stands at 0-8.
