The Barrow Whalers (Utqiagvik, AK) basketball crushed the visiting Nome-Beltz Nanooks (Nome, AK), 54-25 in Saturday's league test.

The Whalers (7-7) will now prepare for their test against Kotzebue (Kotzebue, AK). The Huskies go into the 3A Western test with a 7-13 record. In their last test, Kotzebue was trounced by Bethel (Bethel, AK), 39-30, in a league test.
