The Ponderosa Bruins (Shingle Springs, CA) football routed the visiting Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA), 69-6 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Bruins face the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) in a Capital Valley Conference bout, on Friday, October 7. Ponderosa will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the bout with a 4-1 record after their 47-28 league win over Del Campo (Fair Oaks, CA).

The Broncos (0-5) will now prepare for their bout against Oakmont (Roseville, CA). The Vikings enter the Capital Valley Conference bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Oakmont was crushed by Antelope (Antelope, CA), 48-22, in a league bout.
