The Southwestern Piasa Birds football squad scored 35 points and restricted the visiting Hillsboro Hiltoppers to 7 in the Piasa Birds league victory on Friday.

The Piasa Birds now possess a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Athens for a non-league battle on Saturday, October 28. Southwestern will play a Warriors squad coming off a 28-21 league loss to Maroa-Forsyth (Maroa, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.
