With the win, Dawson School upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Denver Christian (Denver, CO) to clash with the Thunder in a 2A/1A Mile High battle on Tuesday, October 16. The Thunder come into the battle with a record of 16-1. Denver Christian won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Highland (Ault, CO)

Next, the clash with the Clear Creek Golddiggers (Evergreen, CO) in a 2A/1A Mile High battle, on Tuesday, October 16. Gilpin County will attempt to advance on its 6-11 season record. The Golddiggers come into the battle with a 4-13 record after their 3-2 league loss to Heritage Christian (Fort Collins, CO).
