The Grant County Braves football team (Dry Ridge, KY), was ripped 68-6 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Holmes Bulldogs (Covington, KY)

The Bulldogs (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Newport Central Catholic (Newport, KY). The Thoroughbreds come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Newport Central Catholic was ripped by Campbell County (Alexandria, KY), 29-18, in a non-league challenge.

The Braves now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Lloyd Memorial for a non-league challenge on Friday, August 26. Grant County will meet a Juggernauts team coming off a 13-12 non-league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY). The Juggernauts record now stands at 0-1.
