December 28, 2017: Salem, OR 97301 The Sweet Home Huskies basketball team (Sweet Home, OR), was overwhelmed 68-19 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Blanchet Catholic Cavaliers (Salem, OR)
The Cavaliers now possess a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Salem Academy for a 3A PacWest battle on Wednesday, January 3. Blanchet Catholic will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 42-37 non-league win over St. Francis (Sacramento, CA). The Crusaders record now stands at 7-1.
The Huskies (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 7-2 record. In their last battle, Yamhill-Carlton trounced Woodburn (Woodburn, OR), 62-26, in a non-league battle.
