The Martin County Knights (Williamston, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Gates County Red Barons (Gatesville, NC), 73-33 in Tuesday's league test.

The Knights (14-7) will now prepare for their test against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC). The go into the 1A Four Rivers test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, North East Carolina Prep was trounced by Howard (Wilson, NC), 73-44, in a non-league test.
