August 21, 2009: Mt. Vernon, IN 47620 The Mt. Vernon Wildcats (Mt. Vernon, IN) football routed the visiting Tell City Marksmen (Tell City, IN), 43-6 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, August 28. Mt. Vernon will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Vikings enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 14-0 league loss to South Spencer (Rockport, IN).
