The Central Bears basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Nature Coast Tech Sharks to 37 in the Bears non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Bears now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springstead for a non-league contest on Friday, December 17. Central will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-51 non-league loss to Wildwood (Wildwood, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 9-1.

The Sharks (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Weeki Wachee triumphed over Gulf (New Port Richey, FL), 53-42, in a non-league contest.
