November 28, 2023: Platteville, WI 53818 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Mineral Point Pointers (Mineral Point, WI) and the host Platteville Hillmen (Platteville, WI), saw Mineral Point's basketball squad overcome Platteville by a tally of 50-42.
With the victory, Mineral Point improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Pointers travel to Iowa-Grant (Livingston, WI) to confront the Panthers in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Tuesday, December 5. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Iowa-Grant won 52-51 in their recent non-league challenge against River Valley (Spring Green, WI)
Next up, the Hillmen confront the Prairie du Chien Blackhawks (Prairie du Chien, WI) in a Southwest Wisconsin challenge, on Friday, December 1. Platteville will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Blackhawks come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 42-36 non-league loss to Holmen (Holmen, WI).
