Alabama High School Basketball - Lanier thwarts Ramsay
December 4, 2018: Birmingham, AL 35205 The Lanier Poets (Montgomery, AL) basketball knocked off the host Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL), 78-70 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Poets (8-0) will now prepare for their test against Brewbaker Tech (Montgomery, AL). The Rams go into the non-league test with a 7-3 record. In their last test, Brewbaker Tech went down by Lee (Montgomery, AL), 67-62, in a non-league test.
The Rams now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they host Wenonah for a non-league test on Friday, December 7. Ramsay will encounter a Dragons squad coming off a 36-20 non-league win over Center Point (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons record now stands at 10-2.
