The Bluffton Bobcats (Bluffton, SC) football nudged the visiting Thomas Heyward Academy Rebels (Ridgeland, SC), 29-22 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Bobcats face the Wade Hampton Red Devils (Hampton, SC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 17. Bluffton will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Red Devils enter the bout with a 3-0 record after their 21-20 non-league win over May River (Bluffton, SC).

The Rebels (2-1) will now prepare for their bout against Hilton Head Prep (Hilton Head Island, SC). The Dolphins enter the non-league bout with a 3-0 record. In their last bout, Hilton Head Prep held off St. Andrew's (Savannah, GA), 14-0, in a league bout.
