September 30, 2023: Hammond, LA 70401 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Barbe Buccaneers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hammond Tornadoes.
The Buccaneers (11-9) will now prepare for their battle against Destrehan (Destrehan, LA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 12-7 record. In their last battle, Destrehan achieved victory over Ursuline Academy (New Orleans, LA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tornadoes clash with the Covington Lions (Covington, LA) in a Division I District 5 battle, on Monday, October 2. Hammond will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Lions come into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Northlake Christian (Covington, LA).
