December 9, 2022: Grapevine, TX 76051 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chapel Hill Bulldogs (Tyler, TX) and the host Grapevine Mustangs (Grapevine, TX), saw Chapel Hill's basketball squad wallop Grapevine by a tally of 52-31.
With the victory, Chapel Hill improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 4A Region III District 17 challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 1-6. Kilgore won 27-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Cumberland Academy (Tyler, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the Colleyville Heritage Panthers (Colleyville, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, December 13. Grapevine will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 36-35 non-league win over Trinity (Euless, TX).
