The Bloomington Purple Raiders basketball team (Bloomington, IL), was overwhelmed 70-43 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Morton Potters (Morton, IL)

The Potters now possess a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 17. Morton will confront a Silver Streaks team coming off a 77-46 non-league win over Rantoul (Rantoul, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 6-15.

The Purple Raiders (3-14) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln (Lincoln, IL). The Railsplitters come into the non-league battle with a 14-4 record. In their last battle, Lincoln was overwhelmed by Quincy (Quincy, IL), 43-40, in a non-league battle.
