The St. Mary's Ryken Knights basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Bishop O'Connell Knights to 52 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

The Knights now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Ireton for a VISAA Division I contest on Tuesday, January 17. St. Mary's Ryken will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 66-59 non-league loss to Georgetown Visitation Prep (Washington, DC). The Cardinals record now stands at 11-6.

The Knights (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Falcons enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Our Lady of Good Counsel was outscored by Bishop McNamara (Forestville, MD), 74-29, in a league contest.
