Oregon High School Basketball - Neah-Kah-Nie trounces Irrigon
December 29, 2023: Rockaway Beach, OR 97136 The Neah-Kah-Nie Pirates (Rockaway Beach, OR) basketball crushed the visiting Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR), 67-22 in Friday's non-league test.
The Pirates (7-3) will now prepare for their test against Yamhill-Carlton (Yamhill, OR). The Tigers go into the 3A Coastal Range test with a 5-8 record. In their last test, Yamhill-Carlton walloped North Valley (Grants Pass, OR), 42-34, in a non-league test.
The Knights now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Stanfield for a 2A Blue Mountain test on Friday, January 5. Irrigon will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 63-47 non-league win over Central Linn (Halsey, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 5-5.
