The Oxford Wolverines (Oxford, CT) basketball nipped the host Derby Red Raiders (Derby, CT), 37-31 in Friday's non-league test.

The Wolverines (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Woodland Regional (Beacon Falls, CT). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Woodland Regional was edged by Ansonia (Ansonia, CT), 47-34, in a league challenge.
